April 2018
8.8.2017
6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed pitcher who showed very well at the event. The fastball touched 84 mph with arm side run to it. The slider/cutter was 77-78 and has the correct shape, an out pitch at the next level. The changeup is advanced at 75 mph with plus fade and action to it. Pitches out of a plus ¾ slot, athletic lift and controlled front side. The feet have crossfire to them, which needs to be minimized to improve extension. The command of the ball is slightly above average with room for improvement. The stuff is there and when the velocity spikes he will be a legit guy with two plus secondary pitches.

6-foot, 175-pound left-handed pitcher from the South Troy Dodgers program. The slot is slightly above ¾ and the control of the ball is very good. The direction of his feet to the plate is appropriate and the tracking of the shoulders is good. Needs physical strength and weight to help aid development. All 3 pitches work appropriately. The fastball touched 80 mph with run. The slider is a plus pitch, sitting at 76 mph, small in rotation. The changeup is a good one, could be a swing miss pitch at the next level, sits at 71 mph. Good looking arm, high spin velocity leads me to believe there is a velocity spike coming this spring/summer. Good follow on the mound.
