Physical: 5-foot-10, 180 pounds; Sturdy, full build. 7.84 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Closed setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. Displayed impressive hand speed and plus rotational acceleration.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 67 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 73 MPH, while sitting 69-72 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 57-60 MPH; showed depth.
