Physical: 5-foot-10, 135 pounds; Athletic, slender build. 7.59 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Lifts hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a late one hand finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman. Showed some plus rotational acceleration. Will translate into more power down the road.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 68 MPH.
Pitching: Uses an arm side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; low 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 70 MPH, while sitting 67-70 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 59-60 MPH; spots and expands.
