Last Chance Preview-Upstate (October 14, 2017) Miles stands 6-foot-2, 185-pounds with broad shoulders, solid pitcher's build, with still room for advancement. He uses a simple pace to his delivery, repeatable, a free and easy arm-swing releasing the ball from a high 3/4 slot. Fastball peaked on the day at 80 mph (reports of slightly better), there's confidence with the fastball, pounds the zone. Curveball sits upper 60's with 12/6 shape. With additional arm-strength added this winter, watch out for Miles to have a big senior year on the mound.
Campus Series-St. Bonaventure (July 11, 2017)
Miles stands in at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds with a tall, lean, pitcher's frame. Pitching- Shows fluid mechanics with loose arm action. Has good drive down the mound and on front foot strike is in a good throwing position. Release point is a high ¾ slot and repeats mechanics well with an aggressive follow through getting into a good fielding position. Fastball was 78-80 MPH with arm side run . Curveball was 64-68 with good 12/6 action that was consistent hitting the strike zone.
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2016)

Miles stands 6-foot-2. 185-pounds with a pitchers build, long thick lower half with broad shoulders. Pitching- On the mound he uses a slower tempo to his delivery, sound mechanically, belt-high knee lift, slightly opens front side early before shoulder torque starts. Arm-action is fairly clean, circle is short, releases from a high 3/4 slot with fastball sitting 77-78 MPH. Shows an advanced feel for a breaking-ball sitting 66 with 10/5 shape.  Would benefit from more hand-speed when throwing the curveball. Overall, size and feel for offspeed are present, with a focus on arm-strength Miles should see some attention come this summer.
New York Games (June 27-29)
Stands 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with a lean athletic build. Pitching- Fastball sits 77-80 MPH with a 62-65 MPH breaking ball. Uses a slow controlled delivery. Remains tall and balanced before working over a firm front side. Finishes controlled and balanced in line with the plate consistently with athletic ability to field his position well. Defensively- Calculated approach, hands work out in front; showed lateral range. projects more at 2B or 3B. 70 MPH across the diamond.
