7/30/20

Physical: Lean / wiry 5-foot-6, 125-pound frame with ability to continue filling out as he matures. 8.26 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: Switch hitter. Slightly bent, upright stance with the hands starting with quick rhythm on the shoulder. Mirrored the setup from both sides with more power flashing as a RHH. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate the hands through a flat barrel path with lift after contact. Demonstrated quality usage of the ground and legs in the swing from the right side, present adjustability and turned the bat head around early showing gap to gap juice. As a LHH was more handsy, but peppered the middle of the field with a line drive approach, matched pitch plane well from both sides of the plate, projects to have greater power from the right side, bat to ball skills from the left. Hit into a stiff front side allowing for a peak bat exit velocity of 78 mph according to Trackman Baseball. Defensively: The primary middle infielder is an advanced defender with good feeling for rhythm and timing on the approach, played to the left of the ball getting downhill through the fielding window with momentum towards the target out of a low setup. Moved well laterally and demonstrated a multitude of routes in the arsenal to set himself up in good fielding position. Accurate, high ¾ arm-slot on the release out of a short circle. Projects the best as a solid defender at 2B at the moment, will most likely switch over to the left side as he adds strength. INF - 72 mph

7/15/20
Physical: S/R, 5-foot-5 pounds; lean, wiry frame. 8.55 runner in the 60.
Offensively: Switch Hitter. R: Even wide stance with compact hands & upper body L: Similar stance to RH but with elbows more tucked; R: Hands start at ear level and have a short take back, hanging even stride L: Hands mostly the same while stride is a little quicker and not as exaggerated. Little more aggressive lower half from RH, does a good job staying behind the ball from both sides with a direct swing path & quick hands, little more length from LH.  R: Middle to opposite field approach L: More pull approach trying to lift the ball; peak Trackman exit velocity of R 76 L 76 MPH.
Defensively: Low to the ground, athletic setup; laid back approach, covers ground laterally with clean footwork, fluid athletic movements in the middle infield. Soft hands with a quick transfer; short arm swing from low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 72 MPH.
Pitching: Works from the stretch, simple repeatable motion, slightly closed stride resulting in some crossfire action. Quick smooth arm action, standard 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 70MPH, 69-70 MPH. Has some arm side run, was able to locate down in the zone. SL: 57-59 MPH. Tight spin with above average horizontal movement, a solid secondary pitch.
3/01/20

Physical: Lean, compact frame. 8.47 runner in the 60; 4.78 home-to-1B.
Offensively: S. R: Athletic, crouched stance with a wide base, uses a bat waggle and small leg kick for timing, L: More open stance, same wide base and similar load actions R: Direct barrel path, quick hands, great use of lower half, L: Same quick hands a similar bat path, great use of lower half. R: Lots of middle contact, L: Lots of pull-side contact. L- 65 R- 67 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Starts low and gets the glove down early, fields the ball in the middle of his body and funnels the ball in his stomach. Short arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. INF - 69 MPH.
