6/28/21

Physical: Lengthy, uber-athletic 6-foot, 167lb frame with long levers. 7.09 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Narrow, slightly open and bent stance as the hands started high and loose gripped at the head. Utilized a quick leg lift stride up/down, initiating the barrel through a twitchy, flat path into the hitting zone to produce hard contact towards the middle of the field. Hit into a stiff/adjustable front side that blocked off well, yielding natural bat-speeds and a 30% line drive rate (via Trackman) during his batting practice round. Recorded a T95 mph bat-exit velocity with ability to hit for extra-bases when getting extended at the front of the plate; top of the order considerations and successful, raw actions that point towards a good ceiling down the road.

Defensively: The primary outfielder showcased an up tempo approach on defense, gaining ground on the ball over the toes with momentum and releasing quickly from a moderate, H ¾ slot (77 mph arm, accurate). Some centerfield attributes, moving well in space and using a good drop-step technique to go and get it in the air.

2/15/20

Physical: 5-foot-11, 166-pounds. Long, athletic frame with room for added strength.
Run: 7.3 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Starts with an open stance and high hands, uses medium leg kick and bat waggle for timing Barrel is quick through zone, swings down on the ball with a level one-handed finish.
Power: 79 MPH raw exit velocity. Hits backspin line drives/fly balls up the middle and to pull side gap.
Defense: Low approach to the ball with clean footwork, fields the ball in front of glove foot and works into a shuffle to release the ball.
Arm: Medium arm swing with an over the top arm slot. OF - 72 MPH.

6/16/19

6-foot, 154-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, rounded shoulders, with room for added weight. An athlete, long strider, runs well, ran a 7.4 sixty-yard dash. A right-handed hitting outfield, had a tee exit velocity of 78 mph, swing is quick and raw to contact, needs to continue to smooth it out. The baseball jumps off the bat. The hands start high work down through the baseball with a high one handed finish. The approach is more middle to pull, showed ability to get the baseball into pull gap. Defensively, threw 71 mph from the outfield, arm works from a higher slot, shorter stride and throws down hill, could lengthen. Look for game to climb with more game experience.

Tee Exit Velocity: 78 mph

Arm Velocity: 71 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.4
