7/27/22

Physical: 6-2, 170 pounds; Long, slender build.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 88 MPH, while sitting 84-88 MPH; life out of the hand with some arm side run. CB: 71-72 MPH; 11-5 shape. SL: 71-74 MPH; 2-tier break. Fastball boars in to both sides of the plate; high spin slider with swing and miss profile.

6/29/22

Physical: 6-foot-2, 170 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.07 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a short swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 88 MPH, while sitting 85-88 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 72-75 MPH; showed depth. SL: 74-78 MPH; lateral action.  Showed the ability to throw all three pitches in zone. They all tunnel off eachother which allows swing and miss outside of the strike zone with breaking balls.

6/30/21

Physical: Lean, lengthy 6-foot-1, 160lb frame with projection on the bump.

Pitching: RHP - Started tall off the middle of the rubber, creating leverage throughout an adequate tempoed, repeatable delivery. Landed athletically into footstrike, releasing at H ¾ slot with a slight hitch; mixed a firm 80-83 mph FB for strikes to both sides of the plate. Landed a gradual, lateral SL at 1627rpms, sweeping heavily across the plate and then added a quality, fading 76-78 mph CH with killed spin and command to LHH. Able to throw any pitch in any count from a simple, strike-throwing operation.
