Defensively- Showed an aggressive approach to the baseball. Slightly upright when fielding the baseball. Above average exchange and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 76 MPH.
Matt is a 5-foot-11 190 pound 1B/3B that ran a 4.84 home-to-first. Offensively- He bats with his legs in a slightly bent stance, his back elbow up and his feet about shoulder-width apart. He uses a small stride and consistently put the barrel on the the ball and recorded 63 MPH exit velocity. He sort of cut off his swing after contact, he will generate more power with more extension after contact and also utilizing his lower half more.
