Eastern NY All-Star Games (September 13, 2015)
Stands at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, with an athletic body build.  Defensively – In the outfield he has a smooth approach through the ball, athletic approach with quick hands, clean, quick loose action, high-level arm speed at 88, accuracy on the target.  Pitching - On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced approach, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot. He exhibits good command with a fastball max at 85 MPH.  Curveball has a nice change of pace, with nice bite to it, 10/5 shape.  His changeup complements a nice upper 80’s fastball. Offensively - At the plate his setup is athletic, relaxed and balanced open stance, short leg lift stride, with a smooth load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball.  He shows a lot of life in his bat with lots of power.   He is a very aggressive hitter and with his exit velo, gap-to-gap potential is there.  He is a player who is committed to Stony Brook and should transition nicely to the college level.
August 22/23, 2015
Observed at Bloomsburg University (PA), Hits from a spread stance, line drive stroke to right center from the right side. Well put together athlete who impresses from the corner outfield spot and on the mound. Dominated his outing on the mound, compact power pitcher's frame with plus breaking ball.
New England Top Prospects Games (July 28, 2015)
Nick showed really well. From the outfield was 86 on the gun. Routes to balls were good. Needs to shorten up his steps in transfer, too many steps. The arm works and it's very powerful and strong. At the plate hits from the right side, the stance is wide and not much movement, very quiet. The path to the ball is good, it gets a little uphill at the end. Swung the bat well in the game had two hits. Exit velocity was 88 MPH. Off the mound was a 3 pitch guy, the motion is simple and compact, vision needs to get better. The slot is ¾, pounded the zone with strikes. The fastball was 84-86, with more in there. The breaking pitch acted more like a slider, was 72-74 with late bite. The changeup might end up being his best pitch, sells it with using his entire body, has good down action to it. A legitimate 2-way guy, go see him and get on him, will be able to help in many ways, the body is strong, the lower half is powerful.
