5-foot-11, 150-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Athletic movements in the infield, the arm works, and the glove is solid. The prep steps to the and through the ball need to be cleaned up as he matures. Threw 72 mph across the infield with accuracy. Good job on the slow roller play.  Physical strength, long toss program and smoothing out the prep steps will aid his ability to defend. Ran a 4.7 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts with his feet wide, and the hands are set high. The swing is works freely and the hands are clean. There is a small step forward with the front foot as the ball approaches. Needs to get additional hand separation prior to starting the swing.

NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2016)
Wilson stands in at 5-foot-7, 125-pounds with a lean frame. Ran a 7.89 – 60. Offensively- Sets up square to the pitcher with feet outside the shoulders and his knees bent. Upright torso with his hands held just above his back shoulder. On pitch his trigger is a toe tap into a stride forward with his hands moving back into a good hitting position. Hands tend to drop before the swing creating a long swing. Can be corrected with a better trigger of the hands and added strength. Good rotation with the lower half using the whole body in the swing. Middle of the field, line drive results. Recorded and exit velocity of 65 mph. Defensively- Good approach and footwork. Tends to sit back and wait for the ball instead of fielding through it. Could be more aggressive moving towards throwing target. Will improve with more reps and quicker footwork. Displayed a positional arm velocity of 62 mph. Second base mold.
