Physical: 6-3, 210 pounds; Broad shouldered, athletic build. 7.02 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a short swing path with a late one hand finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. advanced swing metrics; power projects.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 81 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 82-83 MPH; life through the zone with high spin and IVB. CB: 72-74 MPH; 11-5 shape. CH: 73-74 MPH. Fastball plays up a tick with high spin and IVB; counters with an effective breaking ball coming out of a similar release point.
Physical: 6-foot-3, 195 pounds; Long, slender build. 6.97 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet narrow; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a one-handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 102 MPH via Trackman. Fast hands, fast twitch swing. Majority of blast metrics are highly impressive. Average to above average on-plane efficiency; high exit velos and distances.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH. Present arm strength with some sure-handedness at the hot corner.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while stabbing downward; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 71-73 MPH; 2-8 shape. Fastball is effective, plays up in the zone with life due to plus spin off a big frame.
