Physical: Twitchy, lean 5-foot-8, 145lb frame with lots of athleticism/feel. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Even, in-line stance at shoulder-width as the hands operated at the shoulder. Utilized some pre-pitch rhythm and a leg-lift stride to initiate the bat head through a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Matched plane of the pitch above the belt, driving the baseball towards the LCF gap with good connection available in the swing. Recorded a T91 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak (via Trackman) sneaking quick hands inside the baseball with control of the inner half. A 44% line drive rate showed barrel control and a 308 foot batted ball distance offered doubles power.
Defensively: The primary shortstop is an impact defender, approaching fluidly in the footwork with tempo towards the bag. Presented the glove hand loosely out in front, funneling on-time with right-left footwork, releasing at H ¾ slot (86 mph arm). Made all the plays with ability to range all over the left side of the diamond.
