Ryan Hann RHP/3B (Williamsville South HS, 2017) Hann stands 5-foot-10 170-pounds with a frame that could use some more good weight. On the mound he keeps his hands high through his knee lift and separation. He drops and drives hard off his back leg towards home with straight shoulders, his arm slot is slightly back towards second base, long with some deception. He releases the ball from a high 3/4 slot with a fastball sitting 70-72 mph. He relies heavily on his curveball which has good late 12/5 shape at 63-64.
3B/Hitting - At the plate he starts upright, elbow up, bat on his shoulder. On the pitch he shifts his weight back, back load with hands, hands then go up before driving inside the ball, short path, bat plane is level through contact, shoulder height finish. His exit velocity off a tee was 74 mph. At 3B he fields the ball in the middle of this stance, bends at his back and needs to get low using his legs more, his transfer is out away from his body but clean, high arm action to a high 3/4 slot. Arm strength was 69 mph.
