6/6/2018:
Cannoe ran a 7.35-60, an improvement from February.  Arm strength measured at 79-MPH from 1B.
Pride Workout (February 10, 2018)
Cannoe stands in at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds with an athletic frame that has room to fill out.  He ran a 7.61 60 yard dash and a 4.66 Home to 1B. Offensively- At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced; high leg lift with a back load.  His hands start at the shoulder with some pre-pitch movement, swinging on a level to upward tilt plane, good full extension through the ball, and has a 2-handed shoulder high finish.  Exit velo of 83 MPH; has potential to put up good numbers with power. Defensively-  Big target at first base, moves well to the baseball and gets in a solid fielding position.  Footwork is quick for a big man around the bag and low three-quarter arm angle produced consistent throws to second and third base. Infield velocity was 83 MPH.
ENY All-Star Game (September 17, 2017)
Cannoe is a 6-foot-3 195-pound 1B. Offensively – Cannoe has an upright stance with minimal knee bend and feet are shoulder width apart. He uses a high leg kick for timing to transfer his weight to his back side before a strong hip rotation to the ball. His hands are high prior to his leg kick as he glides them through the hitting zone using quick and powerful hands. Cannoe has upright tilt in his swing path and finishes high after point of impact. He has an aggressive approach at the plate with an exit velo of 85 MPH. Flashed some power potential during batting practice. Defensively – Cannoe is a solid frame at this position. He has active footwork and is aggressive when fielding the ball. Cannoe is highly athletic for his body size and stays low to the ground as the ball approaches.  He has a quick release with a max velocity of 68 MPH.
