Body Type: 5-foot-9, 155-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Balanced simple swing that could benefit by engaging more of his lower half. Hit: Swings with intent and barrels everything. Line drive swing that works to the middle of the field. Power: More pop to come with added size, and engaging more of his lower half. All the tools are there. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup. Field: Very quick, efficient footwork. Plays low and fast. Looks the part out there. Throw: Ball comes out well. Enough juice for all three skills spots. Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.

Body Type: 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Athletic stance with a smooth, efficient load. Hit: Loose, athletic swing. Very athletic actions. Noticeable hand speed with strength through contact. Stays inside the baseball well, generating natural backspin all over the field. Power: Gap abilities with much more pop than frame would suggest. 91 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Run: 4.47 home to first. Field: Obvious athleticism. Moves light on his feet and covers a ton of ground. Ball skills are solid. Could refine actions a bit but with his athleticism it shouldn’t be an issue. Throw: 83 mph across the infield. Loose arm with above average strength and more to come. Defensive Projection: INF/OF. Very functional with the arm and foot speed to play multiple positions. Additional Comments: Very good athlete. Type of prospect that can be used in multiple roles on both sides of the ball. Impressive combination of strength and speed.

A righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Hands stay quiet during toe turn load with lower half. Quick hands through the zone with some strength on a level path. Line drive guy with gap abilities. Has feel up there. Solid bat. In the infield he shows athletic actions with the ability to create angles. Maintains rhythm through fielding with well above average ball skills. Middle infield skill set. Really solid, well-rounded player whose tools are louder than measurables suggest.

Really liked what I saw from Johnson in the infield. Reacts well off the bat, showing a quick first step. Displayed impressive range to both sides while maintaining ball skills on the move. Middle infielder skill set. At the plate he uses a simple yet efficient loading sequence. When he does pull the trigger he shows a quick/compact stroke through the zone on a level plane. Has feel and the ability to manipulate the barrel to consistently square up the baseball. More strength than frame would suggest.

In the infield he showed quick, efficient feet. Creates angles and has feel for footwork timing, allowing him to maintain momentum. Ball skills are above average for class. Skill set plays in the middle. A right-handed hitter that the plate that starts in a wider stance with majority of weight on back side. Loading sequence is simple and repeatable. Actions are athletic in the box. Swing is compact with a good path. Shows solid feel for the barrel, spraying line drive to both fields. Natural tools are above average presently and he projects for more strength/burst as he matures. Very impressive round of BP. Generates impressive juice while staying within himself.
