Begins in a tall open stance with a controlled smooth load, then uses a closed stride. Bat speed was developing, displayed a level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 62 mph. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.64. Confident solid on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a short quick arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Downhill shoulders and a low strong balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. (Max spin 2001; Avg 1954).
