Andon Grant: OF/RHP, (2025) Valley View High School, OH. 6-foot, 160-pound. (67.9 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 81 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2320; Avg 2233). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2164; Avg 2133).
Andon Grant: OF/RHP, (2025) Valley View, OH. 5-foot-7, 110-pound lean athletic frame. In the box, Grant had an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a smooth quick load, then used a controlled stride. Had a short flat swing plane, and his bat speed was above average. Athletic his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 67 mph; has athletic developing feet, a developing exchange, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic. On the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 62-64 mph; shows running action and arm side command. (Max spin 1953; Avg 1896). Shows gradual action on his 11/5 curveball (56-58). (Max spin 1730; Avg 1710). Had arm side control and fading action on his changeup (59-60).
