A righty swinger that starts in a wider setup. Uses a short stride for timing as barrel moves to a vertical launch position. Path has natural loft and he shows feel for manipulating the barrel to create consistent barrel contact. Line drive type hitter with a balanced offering of strength and speed through the zone. In the outfield he plays under control in his approach. Fields through nicely, on glove foot side prior to getting into his transfer. Feet are efficient as he gathers momentum into throws. Arm is on parr for class. Good athlete out there. Two-way prospect. On the mound the right-hander has fluid tempo to a delivery that requires a some effort. A drop and drive type guy that creates good direction down the mound with his momentum carrying him towards home plate. Arm action is compact with some quickness to it. Fastball comes through a high-¾ slot sitting 81-83 mph. The pitch will show regular late life. Slows arm a bit on the changeup that has some run to it at 71-72 mph. Spins a tight, 11/5 shaped breaking ball at 66-71 mph. Filled up the zone with the fastball.
