Body Type: 5-foot-11, 178-pound athletic frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Dynamic lower half that lands slightly open. A live arm that is quick and smooth. Looks comfortable and in control out there. Fastball: 79-84 mph. Heavy pitch that lives at the top of the zone. 2,100-2,300 rpm spin rate with high 90% efficiency on Rapsodo. Slider: 71-73 mph. Impressive pitch at times, especially when he starts it over the heart of the plate and breaks it off. Curveball: 64-68 mph. 11/5 movement with sharp bite on a near above average offering. Serves as a put away pitch. Pitchability: Strike thrower. Additional Comments: Arm to follow. Respectable velocity with two well above average breaking balls.

Body Type: 5-foot-11 178-pound prospect with a medium, athletic build. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Throws from a ¾ arm slot with a quick arm and smooth, athletic movement patterns. Fastball: 81-83 mph fastball was mostly true through the zone. Breaking Ball: 64-67 mph curveball showed decent spin with a big hump in the pitch. Changeup: 72-73 mph changeup showed some depth and a slight cut at times. Pitchability: Showed average feel and command for his three pitch mix. Role: Presently would be able to start at the highschool level. Would probably be a better fit in the bullpen at the next level.

Body Type: 5-foot-11 178-pound prospect. Swing Mechanics: Starts in a wider setup and uses a front hip hinge load. Shows an upright posture and slightly casts his barrel with an on plane bat path. Hit: Average bat to ball ability. Power: 81 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Shows a somewhat average swing. Raw skills would profile as a line drive hitter to all fields to maximize his current skill set. Field: In the infield he showed good footwork and angles through the ball. He had smooth actions and a quick arm. Throw: 83 mph across the diamond. Run: 4.70 home to first. Defensive Projection: Shows good actions and instincts as a middle infielder. Would be able to stay in the middle of the diamond at the next level but current arm strength would make him sort of a ‘tweener’ between SS and 2B, 2B would be the more likely position.

Really liked what I saw from Deyhle. Currently is slightly more projectable on the mound but could have a shot at doing both at the right level. On the mound he looked very athletic with a clean/fast arm. Fastball is heavier than velocity would indicate and has more in the tank. Will use the breaking ball often, showing obvious confidence in the offering. As a position guy he showed off twitch at the plate with gap pop and the ability to spray it to both gaps. Also looked to be solid defensively up the middle of the infield.

At the plate the righty starts in an athletic setup prior to getting things started with a leg kick. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Natural tools are above average and has more pop than frame would suggest. Would like to see him level out path to use both fields more consistently. In the infield he uses aggressive footwork and takes direct routes to the baseball. Glove skills are average at this stage. Gets rid of the ball quickly. Would like to see him play lower on plays in his funnel. On the mound the righty has good pace to his delivery that requires some effort. Flashed a live arm while working through high-¾ slot. A strike thrower that has feel for all three of his offerings. Fastball was anywhere from 79-81 mph and he was able to use both sides of the plate. Slows his arm a bit on his breaking ball. The pitch has an 11/5 shape with gradual break at 61-64 mph. Maintains fastball arm speed on his 71-72 mph changeup.
