Talented, two-way prospect who will also be one of the top glove guys for Ohio with a rocket across the diamond. Athleticism really shows defensively through lateral mobility and transitions. Type of guy you can play just about anywhere considering athleticism, ball skills and elite arm talent. Expect him to light up the radar gun on the mound as well if his 93mph infield velocity is any indication. At the plate he's an athletic mover with natural whip to stroke. Path is efficient, and he showed the ability to generate true spin inside a middle back approach. Top exit velocity of 92mph. Got the start on the mound for Team Ohio for Game 1 and was electric at times. Up to 92 mph several times, sitting in the upper-80s to 90 mph for the most part. Also showed a tight slider in the mid-70s.

Andrew Edrington: SS/RHP, (2023) Princeton, OH. 6-foot-1, 163-pound athletic frame. Athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Had a simple short swing plane, above average bat speed and level finish. He barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Up the middle approach. Advanced in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 90 mph; shows athletic feet, a clean exchange, and next level hands. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a very quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.99. Athletic on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action while showing quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Curveball (72-74 mph), slider (72-73 mph). Threw his fastball 86-88 mph.

Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a very quick arm action on his throws. On the mound, using a quick arm action he showed electric arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 89-91 mph; shows running action and arm side command. Shows plus action on his 11/5 curveball (70-72). Had plus action on his 11/5 slider (74-75).
