Starts in a balanced open stance with a smooth load, then uses a big leg kick. Bat speed is average and exhibits an uphill rotational swing plane. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 75 mph; has smooth feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Clocked a time of 7.89 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Strong balance point. Sat with his fastball at 81-83 mph; has running action and arm side command. His 11/5 curveball (68-73) showed plus action. Shows arm side control and fading action on his changeup (73-74).
