6/16/20 Position Player Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Simple load that leads to a mostly balanced launch. Level path that worked to both sides of the field with more p[resent pop to pull. Physical presence in the box. Power:Strength plays a louder role than speed to hands but not by much. Flashed gap abilities. Max BP Exit:72 mph Max BP Distance: 241 ft Offensive Projection:Middle of lineup ceiling. Field:Starts in a mid crouch behind the dish. Controlled tempo throughout the catch/throw process. Exchange abilities are developing. Also worked out at first base. Showed the frame for the position. Smooth actions with serviceable ball skills. Throw:Accurate thrower with developing strength. Defensive Projection:1B/C.

3/11/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Lower half creates energy through weight shift. Hands stay quiet during his stride forward. A front foot hitter that takes a slightly downhill path to contact. Stronger than he is fast with the bat at this stage. A contact guy presently who should grown into gap abilities as bat speed catches up to strength. Defensively, he worked out at first base. Gets off the bag while playing under control. Ball skills and lateral mobility are developing. Looked confident in glove on the move. Should only get better over there as physical maturation takes its course.
60-yard dash: 8.91
Infield Velocity: 55
Exit Velocity: 66
12/3/17 Ran an 8.72 60-yard dash. Top tool is his bat. The righty uses a double tap load to create regular energy and consistent timing. Hands stay relatively simple prior to accelerating the barrel through the zone on a slightly downhill path. Bat shows some whip through the zone. Thomas does a nice job of staying inside the baseball and working the middle of the field. A contact guy at this stage who should have more in there as he adds strength. Registered a top exit velocity of 63 mph. Behind the plate he recorded pop times of 2.81-2.9 and threw with 55 mph arm strength. Pop times should improve as arm strength does.
