9/24/17
A very projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. Bassa for the most part shut down the Riverbats who had put up eight runs prior to him entering the game. Worked off his upper 70s to 80 mph fastball. Did a nice job of moving the pitch around the plate and changing eye levels. Used his breaking ball as an out pitch. The 11/5 shaped breaker has big, gradual break at 63-67 mph. Also showed a developing changeup at 64-67 mph. Threw three innings, allowing just two hits and striking out two.

5/31/17
On the mound the right-hander starts on the right side of the rubber before shifting to the middle at the start of the windup. A drop and drive type guy that creates solid momentum with his lower half. Arm has some quickness to it while working through a near high-¾ slot. Fastball has cut to it at 78-81 mph. Was at it’s best when he started it on the outer half and cut it off the plate. Breaking ball has an 10/4 shape to it with solid depth at 66-70 mph. His best off speed pitch may have been his best secondary offering. The pitch has late, heavy fade to it at 68-69 mph.
