2022 MLB Draft League: Becker has a big arm (up to 95) but lacks consistency with his fastball. Improvement on that front stands to make both his curveball and changeup (50% Whiff% each in DL) even more effective.

Becker is the state’s most projectable prospect regardless of class and has positioned himself as one of the top prospects in the country. A very good athlete on the mound with a long-limbed, 6-foot-6 frame. Arm is noticeable loose, generating impressive arm speed. Fastball will sit in the low to mid 90’s, topping out at 96 mph. With his frame and release point he creates good downhill action with a tough angle for opposing hitters. Fastball will show regular arm side action. Breaking ball has continued to progress over the past few years and is getting closer to the pitch’s ceiling. Looks to be a plus offering at times, displaying very sharp 11/5 actions with depth. Already a high follow for pro scouts and has potential to be an early round pick in the 2018 draft.

6-foot-4, 170-pound long, lanky, projectable frame. The two-way prospect shows advance skills for his age. From the infield he projects as a 3B type right now for his age. Has a live arm from a high-¾ slot with 71 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and lands slightly closed. Has slightly long swing with good finish and top exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 4.88 home to first. On the mound the righties best years are still yet to come. He has an easy, tempo delivery that closes himself off which causes him to miss arm side. Easy arm action from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 77-81 mph. Showed a changeup with good feel and arm side run at 71-74 mph.
