6/6/18 6-foot-2, 180-pound. Right handed pitching prospect with an athletic build. Shows rhythm through a low effort delivery. Projects the hips and creates some till through the stride. Fastball works out of a three-quarter slot with regular cutting action at 77 to 81 mph (We’ve seen him up to 86 mph previously). Shows good feel for an 11 to 5 breaking ball that has some sharpness at 69 to 70 miles an hour. Although ceiling looks to be higher on the mound he also has some attractive traits as a position guy. A good athlete with above average foot speed. Tracks it well in the outfielding showing a skill set that could play at multiple spots. At the plate he has a balanced swing with natural lift to path. Gap to gap type pop in general. 60-yard dash: 6.75 Outfield Velocity: 75 Exit Velocity: 84
2/18/18 6-foot, 170-pound prospect with an athletic frame. Fastball came in at 83-86 mph pounding both sides of the plate. Curveball showed bite at times sitting at 66-68 mph. Also showed a developed changeup that sat 73-74 mph while showing similar arm speed to his heater. Developing 3-pitch mix and a name to watch in the class of 2019. Two-way prospect that looked the part in the outfield. Erdely’s arm looked good and made accurate throws consistently aided by an 89 mph velocity. Feet moved very well and efficient that leads to him taking good routes to the ball followed by a quick release. Movements are athletic and well timed in the box creating balanced/separation at foot strike. A strong kid with twitch to his hands. Path is level and he finds plane well. A line drive type swinger with gap abilities. Ceiling is higher on the bump presently but with his athleticism he could definitely be a two-way option at the right level. 60-yard dash: 6.83 Outfield Velocity: 86 Exit Velocity: 83
9/24/17 The two-way talent dominated in his outing on the mound. Used a consistent mix of his 80-83 mph fastball and his 11/5 shaped breaking ball to produce consistent swings and misses/weak contact. Went three innings without allowing a hit and striking out four. At the plate he has a series of rhythmic movements in his loading sequence that create timing and energy. A gap threat who swing plays nicely to the opposite field gap. Generates well above average bat speed through the zone with strength to his hands at contact. Home to First: 4.28 Exit Velocity: 90
7/12/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Initiates movement with a leg kick load. Moves hands back at pitch release, creating solid separation. Swing is compact with above average bat speed. Barrel works on a level path with solid strength through contact. A talented bat with feel for the barrel. Consistently made hard contact and used both fields. Present gap to gap pop. In the outfield, he gathers downhill momentum as he approaches the ball. Footwork is solid, fielding the ball on his glove side foot. Throws from a long 3/4 arm slot with above average arm strength. On the mound the righty has an up tempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses an easy leg lift prior to his drop and drive load. Arm showed above average arm speed, working through a high-3/4 slot. Consistently was in the zone with his fastball that had slight arm side run. Tends to slow arm a bit on his changeup that had similar action to his fastball. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape to it, with gradual break. The pitch was much sharper when he stayed on top of it. Also displayed a changeup near fastball arm speed.
