Body Type: 5-foot-10, 175-pound put together prospect. Swing Mechanics: Athletic moves, incorporating a leg kick during back load to hands.
Hit: Very efficient lower half that generates early acceleration and natural balance throughout swing. Much more physical in general than when we saw him last. Ball jumps to all fields with a few looking like they had the ability to leave the yard.
Power: 95 mph exit velocity. Easy gap with emerging loft power.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Run: 6.88 60-yard dash. Field: Feet work well with bounce out of his stance and above average lateral mobility. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: 85 mph arm strength across the infield.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.
8/4/17 Fisher was sound defensively and had a big knock at the plate. Looks at home at second base, where he projects to be an above average defender at the next level. At the plate he drove a ground rule double to his opposite field gap.
8/2/17 Looked comfortable and athletic in the infield. Showed confident actions with impressive glove skills. Has the tools to stay in the middle at the next level. At the plate he initiates his loading sequence through a leg kick. Bat has some quickness to it and strength is a better tool than frame would suggest. Path is level to slightly downhill. Worked to his pull side during BP.
2/19/17 5-foot-9, 160-pound infielder. As an infielder, he shows advanced skills for his age. Feet are light and active. At times, he can be more aggressive to the ball. Does a good job fielding the ball out in front and transitioning into a quick transfer. Short arm action with top velocity of 83 mph. Has ability to throw from multiple angles depending on where the ball is hit. Offensively, he is an ideal top of the lineup mold with feel for the barrel and a fast bat. Gets on plane early and takes a level path to the baseball. Has the ability to create backspin to all fields.
60 Yard Dash: 7.05 Position Velocity: 83 Exit Velocity: 86
6/13/16 5-foot-8, 150-pound athletic frame. At the plate he starts in a wider setup and uses a leg kick to initiate his lower half. Bat gets through the zone with some strength and batspeed. Above average pop. Registered an exit velocity of 79 mph and ran a 4.66 from home to first. Good hitter. Looks the part in the infield, with fluid, athletic actions. Glove is advanced for his age. Remains athletic on the move.
1/18/16 5-foot-6, 130-pound athletic build. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. At the plate the right-handed hitter starts in an athletic, slightly open stance. He uses a leg kick to get back to even and efficiently shift his weight into contact. Hands tend to drift forward during his stride which causes him to lose a little pop. Exit velocity was 73 mph. In the infield he showed very smooth, athletic actions at shortstop. Displayed good footwork with the ability to get rid of the ball quickly. Threw from a low 3/4 slot with 70 mph arm strength.
