Skill set is highlighted by is 6.5 speed. Although speed is top tool he impresses in other fascets. A top of the lineup bat with obvious bat speed and more pop than one would expect. Ball jumps off his bat with easy gap pop. More of a line drive guy but will show occasional authority to the gaps. In the outfield he has a center/left field skill set. Reacts well off the bat and speed shows to the baseball. Arm is his quietest tool at this point.
60-yard dash: 6.54
Outfield Velocity: 80
Exit Velocity: 88

Whether it’s in centerfield or on the base paths Burke flat out flies around the baseball field. We didn’t run 60’s on this day but wouldn’t be shocked if he’s sub 6.7 but how he was moving on this day. Skill set fits in centerfield and at the top of the lineup at the next level. Definite college player with scholarship potential.

5-foot-11, 170 pound outfielder had a good performance at the event showing good footspeed and taking the right angles to the baseball. Burke fielded it better than most of the group, had a throwing velocity of 79 mph and had good air under his accurate throws home. The right-handed hitter topped the radar gun at 88 mph for his exit velocity displaying the strength from his sturdy frame. He gets power from good use of his lower half through rotation and put the ball the other way with hard contact a couple times. There is more energy to be generated in his swing improving his overall performance by creating greater separation in his load. To add to Burke’s list of tools with upside, he also runs very well at 3.93 down the line.

1/15/18

Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Goes with a tor turn load to get his lower half started. Barrel is fluid as it moves through load into launch. Path is level with noticeable barrel whip through the zone. A line drive type guy with the natural tools to drive the gap and much more to come as he matures physically. Registered a top exit velocity of 87 mph. Did a nice job of staying inside the baseball. In the outfield he plays with feel and good rhythm. Fields through the baseball with above average ball skills and transitions smoothly into throws. Arm likely profiles him in center or left at the next level. Showed off 77 mph arm strength to home plate.

An outfielder in the 2019 class. Ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. A very good athlete with an impressive combination of strength and speed. At the plate he applies simple, yet efficient movements to his loading sequence. Shows a nice, level swing through the zone. Bat speed is an above average tool and he gets through contact with ease. Produces regular gap pop with signs of power to come. Reached a top exit velocity of 86 mph. In the outfield he has fluid actions and plays through the baseball well. Ball skills are above average for class. Arm is an average tool (79 mph to home plate) and if it catches up to other tools he should be able to play all three spots.

7/18/17
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect. Offensively, he is a right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Moves hands fluidly to launch during his short stride. His loose upper half creates easy whip through contact. Path is level and barrel gets through the baseball well. Present gap pop with flashes of pull side power. In the outfield he has athletic, confident actions. Has obvious feel for the position. Plays through the baseball with above average ball skills. Arm strength is above average and his low throws give the ball plenty of carry.
