Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Has efficient bat speed, simple flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.85 at the event. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed.
