Uses a leg kick to get things started and takes a level path to the baseball. Ball looked different than others coming off his bat when he found the barrel. Footwork is fluid and mechanically sound. Arm action is longer than ideal but makes up for it with quick transfer.

Behind the plate he starts with a wide base. Quick feet and clean exchange and throws form a high-3/4 slot with pop times ranging from 2.19-2.2 and 70 mph arm strength from home to second.

He uses a fluid load with his hands moving back, getting to an arm bar. His head does a good job of staying still throughout his swing, and finishes with a one-handed follow through. Shows strength, with the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Produced a top exit velocity of 85 mph and ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Behind the dish, the catcher shows quickness in his transfer while using a ¾ arm slot. Topped out at 74 mph on throws down to second while popping between a 2.04 and 2.14.
