Brayden Kendall: OF, (2022) Cincinnati LaSalle, OH. 6-foot-3, 180-pound. Solid at the plate, Kendall was ranked 2nd with an exit velocity of 96 mph.Starts in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is explosive, has a rotational swing plane and level finish. Was able to create a lot of loud contact during his round. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 84 mph; had a clean natural exchange, consistent hands, and athletic rhythmic footwork. Showed a long arm action and an-over-the-top slot.

Brayden Kendall: OF, (2022) Cincinnati LaSalle, OH. 6-foot-2, 180-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 96 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. Started in an athletic balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had an upward swing plane and quick bat speed. In the outfield, he showed a plus arm and had life on his throws with a position velocity of 90 mph;had soft hands, athletic footwork, and a packing exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front.

 6-foot-2, 180-pound athletic frame. Solid during batting practice, Kendall clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Has explosive bat speed and upward swing plane. He barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Aggressive approach. Solid in the outfield, he showed a plus arm and had life on his throws with a position velocity of 89 mph;had soft hands, athletic footwork, and a packing exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.35.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a back load to hands during leg lift timing trigger. Physical dude with bat speed. Some things to clean up but the tools are there to work with. Landed on a few balls in BP.
Power: Legit pop for class.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 91 mph
Max BP Distance: 334 ft
Field: Plays under control too and through. Ball skills on par for class. Smoother actions.
Throw: Clean arm with above average jump and more to come.
Defensive Projection: Multiple spots out there.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an open setup. Obvious natural tools through the zone. Fast bat with above average rotational abilities. Ball jumped when squared, showing heavy hands through contact.
Power:Well above average pop for class.
Offensive Projection:Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity:97 mph
Max BP Distance: 317 ft
Field:In the outfield he plays with athletic actions and confidence in his play through. Solid skill set out there.
Throw:Ball comes out well. Accurate thrower with above average strength for class.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a athletic setup. Physical bat in the box. All the tools are there. Ball jumps when squared.
Power:Gap abilities with occasional power.
Max BP Exit:92 mph
Max BP Distance: 316 ft
Offensive Projection:Run Producer ceiling.
Field:Good athlete that gets to the baseball in a timely fashion. Respectable ball skills on the plate through prior to transitioning fluidly into release.
Throw:Arm works well with solid strength and more to come.
Defensive Projection:Corner lean.

Hit: Vertical stance with a stop and go approach. Displays quick hands through the zone running the bat at an upper trajectory.
Power: 90 mph exit velo with a max distance of 313 feet.
Offensive Projection: Line drive run producer potential.
Field: Hop and go approach in the field to catch the route of the ball and to stay on the balls of feet.
Throw: 85mph outfield velocity.
Defensive Projection: Lock down centerfielder.

7/03/19

Body Type: 6-foot-2, 180-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics:  Simple load with minimal movement.  Keeps his hands loaded.
Hit:  Downhill bat path that works to the pull side.  Bat speed produced some pop.
Power:  Flashed pop to the pull side with more to come.
Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup guy.
Field: Moves well in the outfield/athleticism shows out there. Ball skills are on par for class and he plays with consistent tempo.
Throw: Well above average arm strength for class.
Defensive Projection: Corner lean but athletic enough to play multipe spots.

 

Body Type:  6-foot-2, 175-pound physical frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Small leg kick while he keeps his hands loose and loaded.

Hit:  Downhill bat path with a pull side approach.  Swings with intent, and has natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.
Power: Gap abilities with potential to hit for occasional power. 84.3 off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Run producer tools. Ball really jumps when he finds the barrel.
Field: Mechanically sound with athletic actions out there. Ball skills are ahead of the curve for class.
Throw: Arm works pretty well through a high-3/4 slot. Above average strength for class.
Defensive Projection: Corner lean.
