6/6/17
A two-way prospect in the in the 2019 class. Profiles better on the mound at this stage. Uses an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Arm action is clean with well above average arm speed. Throws a heavy, 79-84 mph fastball. Uses both sides of the plate with the pitch and isn’t afraid to challenge hitters with it. His 11/5 shaped breaking ball is his put away pitch. The breaker has sharp action with depth. Showed his changeup a few times. Still developing feel for the pitch. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is fluid and created energy. Barrel gets on plane early and stays through contact well. Well above average natural tools for his age. Ball comes off his bat well showing gap to gap pop in batting practice. Produced backspin to the middle of the field.
Exit Velocity: 92

1/22/17

6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect. The two way prospect also shows plenty of promise on the mound as a right handed pitcher. Uses simple repeatable mechanics giving him consistent command in the zone. Throwing through an over the top slot, he offers an 80-82 mph fastball that shows jump out of his hand. Displays good feel with two capable offspeed pitches. The 66-67 mph breaking ball displays good depth on a 11/5 plane. Changeup offers some late sink at 70-72 mph. An infielder that showed quick footwork and the ability to play low inside his funnel. Looked comfortable moving to both his forehand and backhand side. Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced, athletic stance. Uses big leg kick to initiate his lower half with a small stride. Transfers weight well through contact. Hands start just above shoulder and occasionally not be slotted by the time his weight transfers onto his front side. Takes slight uphill path to the ball. Top exit velocity of 86 mph off the tee.

6/23/15
Young looking, 5-foot-10, 155-pound thin frame, with lots of room to fill out with. From the infield he uses pretty good footwork to approach ground balls, could be just a little bit more aggressive playing through the baseball. He throws using a clean, short arm action coming from a ¾ slot, using 70 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter starts with his weight slightly more towards his back leg. He uses an inward turn with his front foot for a timing mechanism and has a fluid hands back load. He finishes with a one-handed follow through, reaching a top exit velocity of 76 mph. He ran a 4.70 down the line to first base. On the mound he uses simple, repeatable mechanics in a delivery that doesn’t require much effort. He uses a straight up and down leg lift,  landing in a straight line at foot strike. Has a long arm action, using average arm speed coming from a ¾ slot. Good three-pitch mix with his fastball sitting between 71-75 mph. His curveball is an advanced pitch for his age with sharp, late breaking action at an 11/5 plane between 64-65 mph. He also mixed in a changeup using fastball arm speed at 66-67 mph.
