Caden Robinson: RHP/OF, (2022) New Albany, OH. Memphis Commit, 6-foot-1, 180-pound. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Balance is tall point with a downhill shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 86-89 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2009; Avg 1958). His changeup (77-78) has some fading action. Throws a 10/4 slider (71-74) that has late action.
Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a smooth, efficient load that leads to a balanced launch. Fast twitch athlete with heavy hands through the zone and above average bat speed. Vert solid BP, squaring everything up and showing natural backspin abilities.
Power: Gap pop with potential for more.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 93 mph
Max BP Distance: 311 ft
Scouting Notes: Put himself on the map big time with this performance. Good athlete, loose arm. Fast twitch athlete. Fastball is live, touching 89mph and sitting in the 86-88mph range. Complements heater with a tight slider that was more than playable and a changeup that rides/drive through the zone with good sell. Big time arm talent.
Fastball: 86-89mph.

2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Robinson shows a quick twitch type of athleticism on the mound and throws from a low ¾ arm slot with some crossfire action to his delivery. Overall fairly clean arm action with a small hitch in the backside Fastball: The fastball was 80-83 mph and mostly true. Curveball: His breaking ball was 67-70 mph with slurvey shape and tight spin. Good pitch with above average bite. Changeup: The changeup was 74-76 mph. Pitchability: Good three pitch mix. The breaking ball shows as above average and could develop into a true swing and miss pitch as he adds velocity.

Hit:Good athlete with obvious twitch. Ball jumps when squared. Path plays. Solid bat to follow.
Power:Gap pop.
Offensive Projection:Multiple Roles.
Field:Good athlete with a big arm. Moves well out there with feel for the spot. Ball skills are above average.
Throw: Has a chance to be a real tool out there.
Defensive Projection: Corner OF.
2/10/19
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 140 pounds. Lean athletic build.
Swing Mechanics: Hits from a wide stance showing a slight uphill bat path during his round. Shifts weight out onto front foot often.
Hit: Made average contact overall showing some pop ability in his bat. Progressing swing as he fills out more.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity showing bat speed. Multiple swings on the field showed this power.
Offensive Projection: TBD over the course of the next few years. Good sized athlete right now.
Run: 7.53 60-yard.
Field: In the outfield he fielded it well showing average glovework. Can work on getting to the side of the ball and fielding off his left foot improve his defense. Footwork is developing.
Throw: 78 mph from the outfield displaying a strong arm.
Defensive Projection: Outfield. Younger athlete that has time to grow and fill out more while progressing his abilities.
2/10/19 Pitching
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Releases from a ¾ arm slot with clean arm action. Mechanics overall were smooth and displayed great intent in actions. Plenty left in his tank as he develops.
Fastball: 78-80 mph. Comes out of hand with ease. Has heavy arm-side run showing off arm strength.
Curveball: 71-74 mph. Moves with a harder 10-4 action and can locate it consistently.
Changeup: 66-68 mph. Has arm-side run to it with some arm depth. Leaves it at the bottom of the zone.
Pitchability: Displayed a nice three-pitch mix with his fastball, curveball and changeup. Commands the zone well too with them. Room to grow still physically and tools have upside.
Role: Multiple Roles.
