Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a tight rhythmic load, then uses a quick controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, showed a level short swing plane and a back foot finish. He barreled up lots of balls throughout the round. Gap to gap approach. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 76 mph. Behind the plate, throw downs to second topped out at 76 mph; had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.85-1.90 pop time. Recorded a time of 7.11 in the 60-yard dash.
