6/6/17 A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. A smooth swinger with a very efficient stroke. Showed excellent feel for the barrel and gets on plane early. Creates early bat speed and stays through contact well. Looks to be a guy who will hit for a high average and has enough natural tool to his velocity. Behind the plate he showed very quick footwork and exchange skills. Throws were consistently on the bag. In the infield he is mechanically sound with confident actions. Smooth infielder with impressive glove skills. 60-yard dash: 7.38 Infield Velocity: 71 Catcher Velocity: 72 Pop Times: 1.97-2.06 Exit Velocity: 89
2/19/17 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect. In the infield, he projects as a second base type. Fluid footwork. Fields the ball out in front with some softness in his hands. Transfer is quick. Gets rid of the ball with sense of urgency. Short arm action with top velocity of 77 mph across the infield. Has the ability to throw from different slots depending where the ball takes him. Behind the dish, he starts in a balanced stance with his weight shifted onto his toes. Footwork is efficient. Creates direction to second base. Clean transfer and exchange. Needs to improve arm strength, but makes up for it with solid mechanics and accurate throws. Offensively, he is very solid all-around. Showed feel for his body and the barrel. Mechanically efficient with above average natural tools. Shows all the signs of a high average guy.
60 Yard Dash: 7.81 Position Velocity: IF 77, 67 C Pop Time: 1.91-1.97 Exit Velocity: 85
6/15/16 5-foot-9, 165-pound average frame. Ran a 4.82 from home to first. Still developing physically but has one of the more mechanically sound swings we saw at the event. Gets excellent use out of his lower half through a toe turn load that creates energy and separation. The separation created through his lower half gives his flat path room to work allowing him to find the barrel even when he is off time. Sprayed line drives all over the field in batting practice. Top exit velocity was 81 mph. Also mechanically sound in the infield with fluid actions. His advanced footwork allows him to field threw the ball efficiently. Projects best at second base at this stage. Also worked out behind the plate. Has quickness to his feet and transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.08-2.19. Arm strength is still developing. Good player that’s only going to get better as he matures.
6/30/15 5-foot-8, 155-pound thinner body frame, with room left to fill out and project. From the infield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls and plays through the baseball. He fields the ball with his hands out in front of his body and throws with a clean, short arm action coming from a ¾ slot, using 73 mph velocity across the infield. Left-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance, shifting his weight with his lower half to his back leg before he swings. He loads with his hands moving slightly to his back shoulder. Swings with an upward bat path through the zone, finishing high with a two-handed follow through. He showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 77 mph and ran a 4.58 out of the batter’s box to first base.
8/16/14 5-foot-5, 115-pound frame. From the infield he has good footwork and shows some range for his age. Has clean exchange, throws from a ¾ slot with 68 mph arm strength. Left-handed hitter with a good set up and keeps his weight back with a small leg kick. Good bat path that is slightly uphill with top exit velocity of 75 mph and 4.8 home to first.
