6-foot-2, 200-pound sturdy frame. Athletic during batting practice, Maruniak displayed an exit velocity of 92 mph, 2nd Highest at the event. Begins in a crouched open stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is explosive, uses a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph. Movements laterally were average. While catching, had a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent footwork. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action and a ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.31.

Hit:Physical presence in the box from the right side. DOesn't get cheated up there and has the tools to do damage when squared. BP was electric at times. Top BP exit velocity was 95mph. Power:Ball jumps, impressive pop. Offensive Projection:Run producer ceiling. Field:Rangy defender that has a corner look to him. Hands appear to be above average for class, making all the plays in his defensive evaluation. Throw:Clean arm with more strength to come. Defensive Projection:Corner.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, and 195-pound athletic/strong build.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athletic and fluid delivery. Shows regular effort working out of a high-¾ slot.
Fastball: Heavy 77-80 mph fastball that worked on a downhill plane with slight run to the arm side.
Curveball: Spins the breaking ball very well. Pitch has a near 12/6 shape and is fairly sharp at 65-68 mph.
Knuckleball: The pitch has light rotation and showed a little diving action near the zone at 64-68 mph.
Pitchability: Filled the zone with all three offerings. Shows advanced feel at his age for the breaking ball. Would like to see development of a changeup moving forward.
Additional Comments: Fairly physical for his age. Shows some pitchability and should see a velocity bump in the near future.
Body Type: 6-foot-1, and 195-pound athletic/strong build. Swing Mechanics: Swing it from the right side, incorporating a back load to hands during leg kick timing trigger. Hit: Physical kid that swings with intent. Ball jumps when squared. All fields guy that showed natural ball flight to the middle of the field. Impressive round. Power: 79.7 mph off the bat in BP. Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Field: Plays with quiet feet in the infield. Ball skills are on par for his class.
Throw: Has short and loose arm action with developing arm strength.
Defensive Projection: Corner infield.
