Body Type: 5-foot 10, 175-pound projectable build
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: The righty pitching prospect works through a slow tempo fall off motion. Stays tall through his delivery as he controls motion toward the plate. Works with a near ¾ slot and maximizes his body with a smooth mechanic delivery.
Fastball: 75-78mph. Runs the fastball through the zone with a heavy look. Should see more velo to come as he grows on his frame. 1900-2100 rpms with a slightly above spin rate sitting in the low 90s.
Curveball: 65-68mph. The break snaps at a 10/4 path, providing above average break away from right-handed hitters. The secondary offering provides a good change in velo, and is located well within any count. Expect more development with the spinner.
Changeup:
Pitchability: Two above average pitches for his class, with probable growth in velo down the road.
Additional Comments:

Body Type:  5-foot-10, 175-pound athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Simple and smooth load into back leg. Open stance that is loose and athletic.

Hit:  Level bat path with a middle approach, and true ball flight to all fields.

Power:  Line drive guy right now with more to come as he develops and adds size.

Offensive Projection:  TBD.
Field: Moves well in the infield. Has good tempo and can create angles. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Clean arm with some speed to it. Likely has more mphs in the tank.
Defensive Projection: 2B/3B.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slower paced tempo to a delivery that doesn’t require much effort. Gets down the mound decent with solid direction. Arm comes through a high-¾ slot with slightly above average arm speed.
Fastball: Mostly true through the zone. Pitch came in at 77-80 mph.
Curveball: 11/5 to 12/6 wrinkle breaking ball with gradual action. Spun it in the zone at 68-71 mph.
Changeup: Good sell on the offering. Fastball look out of the hand with late downward life. Change came in at anywhere from 75-76 mph.
Pitchability: Pounded the zone with the fastball and showed decent feel for the other two.
Additional Comments: Coming off ACL injury and should only continue to get better.

Swing Mechanics: Balanced, open stance. Uses a toe turn for timing as barrel flows to a vertical launch.
Hit: In/out path with some whip through the zone. Balanced offering of strength/speed to stroke. Landed on a few balls in BP. Showed inconsistent barrel accuracy but ball jumps when squared.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Gap abilities.
Field: Plays with quick, shorter footwork. Attacks the ball, cutting down distance off the bat. Average ball skills for class.
Throw: Ball comes out well. Throws with intent.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.

2/4/18
Righty that uses a big leg lift with inward turn that requires effort in the delivery. Fastball comes out of a near over the top slot . Breaking ball is thrown with gradual break at 11/5.  Arm speed is consistent on changeup with some armside fade. Two-way prospect. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Goes with a toe turn to incorporate lower half while launching barrel from a vertical position. Swing is compact with noticeable barrel whip through the zone. Stays inside the baseball well, spraying line drive to the middle of the field. Also showed the ability to drive opposite field gap. Impressive feel at the plate for class. In the infield he moves light on his feet and reacts well off the bat. Hands are soft and he shows average to slightly above average ball skills for class. Lateral mobility is developing. Would like to see more urgency to his transfer.

1/22/17
5-foot-9, 152-pound prospect. On the mound the right-hander showed good tempo and the ability to repeat his delivery. Works through a high-3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 71-73 mph, topping at 74 mph. Needs to be in the zone more consistently with the pitch. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with gradual break at 65-66 mph. Was able to keep his arm speed on his 66-69 mph changeup. A righty hitter that takes his hands to launch during his short stride forward. Barrel gets through the zone on a slightly up hill path. Gets on plane very early, giving him a large margin of error in timing. Produced line drives to both sides of the field during batting practice. In the infield he takes direct routes to the baseball and fields the ball deep into his body. Throws from a high ¾ slot.
