The 6-foot-1, 170-pound athletic build right-hander has a real feel to spin the baseball. His fastball sits 85-87 with good downhill plane. He throws two kinds of breaking balls. 10/27/13
Young man put himself on the recruiting radar with excellent showing. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound righty has good physical projection in his body. Definitely left impression that there is more in his tank. Good delivery with directional path towards the plate. Has moderate arm speed through the 3/4 arm slot. Fastball gunned at consistent 85-86 mph with some occasional sink action. Shows feel for downward plane curve (74-76 mph) along with solid arm action on change (73-75 mph).
