RHP/3B, (2023) Westerville South, OH. 6-foot-4, 185-pound long athletic build. At the plate, Metz had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (64.5 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide balanced stance with a high controlled load, then used a leg kick. Has average bat speed, an inside-out swing plane and high finish. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 75 mph; shows a natural exchange, athletic developing feet, and sure developing hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Recorded a 60 time of 7.68 at the event. On the mound, using a quick arm action he showed quick arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Has a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph; has arm side control and running action.
