(22.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a quiet balanced stance with a small load, then used a controlled stride. Has a short simple swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 72 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 8.06 at the event. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1814; Avg 1792).
