6-foot-0, 155-pound prospect. At the plate he starts balanced before using a leg kick to get things started. Hands stay simple prior to taking a downhill path to the ball. Swing is short and compact. Would like to see him level out his path to let his natural tools show in his swing. At first base he uses quick footwork prior to fielding the baseball deep in the middle of his body. Glove skills are adequate. An above average athlete for the position. Showed quickness to his transfer skills, prior to throwing across the diamond. Behind the dish, he starts in a stance with feet outside his shoulder. Takes quick sideways jab step and never squares up his lower half. Hands work quickly to the ear. Uses short arm action from a high ¾ slot.
