Conor Hix: C/OF, (2023) Grove City, OH. 5-foot-9, 152-pound. Athletic at the plate, Hix clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. (63.14 mph bat speed average). (22.08 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is above average, has a level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels through his rounds. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 70 mph during throw downs; has a natural fluid transfer, quick in control feet, and soft hands. had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.94-2.04 pop time. Some flexibility and athletic setup. Showed consistent accuracy to the base and a compact arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.46.

Conor Hix: C/OF, (2023) Grove City, OH. 5-foot-8, 150-pound. Solid at the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 91 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was above average, and showed a level swing plane. Created some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 83 mph; has consistent rhythmic feet, a packing exchange, and consistent hands. While catching, he made throws to second at velocities up to 73 mph; shows a clean exchange, soft hands, and athletic quick feet. Had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.93-2.00 pop time. Has athletic setup. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.43.

5-foot-8, 150-pound athletic frame. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. Began in an athletic open stance with a controlled smooth load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was above average, and showed a level swing plane. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 73 mph; shows a quick exchange, soft hands, and athletic feet. He produced a pop time of 2.06-2.17. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.53.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Athletic, smooth mover in the box. Loading sequence creates both balance and energy. Rotational acceleration registered off the chart up to 37gs, consistently over 30gs. Bat speed is a well above average tool as well. Some serious tools to work with.
Power: Easy gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Field: Talented backstop that looked the part. Well above average catch and throw guy who recorded the lowest pop time of the event. Also handled himself well block/receive wise in bullpen.
Throw: Above average strength.
Defensive Projection: C.

5-foot-6, 150-pound athletic, projectable body frame. From behind the plate he has athleticism with quickness to his footwork. Has a clean exchange and arm action through a high ¾ slot. Recorded pop times of 2.03-2.17 and reached a velocity of 69 mph. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance using a leg kick to initiate his lower half and strides back to even at foot strike. Has a fluid load with his hands moving just past his back shoulder. Swings with a mostly level bat path through the zone finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use the whole field during BP recording an exit velocity of 75 mph. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash.

Body type: 5-foot-2, 125-pound thin frame.

Swing mechanics:  Simple and smooth leg kick that keeps his hands loose and loaded through contact.

Hit:  Level bat path with line drives to the pull side.  Natural ball flight to the middle part off the field.

Power:  Line drive guy right now who just needs to develop physically, and will get more pop.

Offensive projection:  TBD.

Field:  Behind the dish, he features a smooth transfer with a quick feet. Shows good actions in the field, glove is solid and should make routine plays.

Throw: Arm strength is developing with loose and short arm action. Throws across the diamond were accurate. Transfer is clean and arm is still developing.

Defensive Projection:  UTL.
