Began in an athletic strong stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 74 mph; has soft hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Cooper Steckel: 1B/RHP, (2025) Carlisle, OH. 5-foot-10, 175-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. (64.5 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide open stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a controlled long stride. Bat speed was above average, used a simple uphill swing plane and balanced good extension on his finish. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 71 mph; had a lengthy clean exchange, athletic developing footwork, and twitchy sure hands. Uses his glove out front.
