2/17/20 Position Player Hit: Physical presence from the left side. Starts out in an athletic setup. Very smooth and fluid swing. Good mix of strength and speed. Hands burst through the zone on a slightly uphill plane. High upside bat. Power: Present pop with chance to hit for power. Ball jumps off of the bat. Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup Field: Plays off the bag well with developing footwork. Glove skills are a little raw but should develop into a more than playable defender at first. Throw: Solid arm strength. Throws with a clean arm action and a ¾ slot. Defensive Projection: 1B.
1/21/19 Body Type: 6-foot-4, 200-pounds physical/projectable frame.
Swing Mechanics: Open stance. Uses a simple load, getting front foot down early.
Hit: 6-foot-4, lefty swinger with obvious physicality. Level stroke with feel for contact. Flashed gap abilities and the ability to lift the ball naturally. Very interesting hit tool with upside.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity. Ball jumps. Should grow into occasional power.
Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup.
Run: DNR.
Field: First baseman with idea frame for the spot. Plays off the bag with feel and solid ball skills. Should grow into a more than serviceable defender.
Throw: 75 mph arm strength. Ball comes out well with accuracy across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: 1B.
1/21/18 A 6-foot-4, long limbed prospect with a ton of physical projection left on frame. On the bump the right-hander works exclusively from the stretch. Arm action is tight while moving through a high-3/4 slot. Fastball will show cut/run depending on which side of the plate he works to, sitting 75-78 mph. Breaking ball is tight, working on an 11/5 plane. The pitch has potential, already shows signs of depth and sharpness at 59-63 mph. Also showed developing feel for his 64-67 mph. Frame fits the first base position. Moves well laterally off the bag. Hands are soft with above average ball skills for the spot. Solid defender in general with feel around the bag. Swings it from the left side, starting in an athletic setup. Goes with a leg kick for timing as barrel flows through a bat tip load. A middle of the lineup type bat with obvious strength through the zone. Has room to clean up mechanically but has the frame and natural tools to be a run producer down the road. 60-Yard Dash: 7.56 Infield Velocity: 77 Exit Velocity: 84
