Darren Krider: OF/RHP, (2025) North Olmsted, OH. 5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic build. (65.5 mph bat speed average). (20.3 mph hand speed average). Begins in a strong stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was flashed, had an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Confident advanced in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 78 mph; had a clean natural exchange, next level hands, and smooth in control footwork. Fields the ball out front to the side, movements laterally were athletic. Used uninterrupted slot with a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Advanced on the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a longer arm action. Stretch only type pitcher who shows easy effort. Bat speed was efficient, used an uphill swing plane and high finish. Produced some loud contact and found some barrels. Up the middle approach. Capable his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 79 mph; shows soft hands, in control feet, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot and a compact arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Solid on the mound, used a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses decent effort. Has in line shoulder and strong balance point. Lands square with balanced finish.  (Max spin 1774; Avg 1683).

Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.95. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 66-68 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1824; Avg 1742). Throws a 11/5 curveball (57-60) with gradual action. (Max spin 1822; Avg 1739). His changeup (61-63) shows some action.
