Body Type: 6-foot-2, 160-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Very simple and efficient swing. Hit: Slightly uphill path with a ton of feel for contact. Swing shows up in BP and game. Just has a feel to hit. Power: As he develops he will add more pop. Line drive guy now who can run the gap. Offensive Projection: Top to middle of the lineup. Field: Does a nice job of creating angles prior to fielding. Plays with rhythm through the baseball. Ball skills are on par for class. Throw: Continues to get stronger each time we see him. Defensive Projection: 2B/3B.

Body Type: 6-foot-2 160-pound prospect. Swing Mechanics: Has a balanced setup and uses a toe tap load. Barrel stays through the zone well with an on plane bat path. HIt: Below average barrel control. Power: 79 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Skill set and physical tools would lend itself best to a line drive singles approach. Field: In the infield he showed good hands. With mostly smooth, athletic actions. Ok footwork and a release that needs to be quickened up. Throw: 75 mph across the diamond. Run: 4.77 home to first. Defensive Projection: Physical strength would seem to be his primary limiting factor currently. Shows solid fundamentals and athletic movements in the infield. Currently would project as a 2B only guy due to his raw arm strength.

Really liked what I saw from Macciocchi. A good athlete with very impressive bloodlines as both brothers were D1 athletes. A lefty swinger with a smooth, compact stroke. Expect much more pop as he fills out athletic frame. Impressive feel for the barrel, finding it often and showing the ability to use all fields. Made consistent hard contact in game. At short he moves light on his feet and plays low through fielding. Hands are soft and ball skills are above average. Middle infield skill set.
A rangy defender with the ball skills to play up the middle. Moves well to both sides, showing well above average glove skills. Looks comfortable on the move and can use multiple slots. A left-handed hitter that looks the part at the plate. Hands are loose and barrel is rhythmic, allowing him to create natural whip and early bat speed through the zone. Natural tools are already above average for class and he looks to still have more in there. Has feel for the barrel and can use both gaps. A rangy defender with the ball skills to play up the middle in the infield. Moves well to both sides, showing well above average glove skills. Looks comfortable on the move and can use multiple slots. A definite prospect to follow as he adds strength and burst with maturity.
