2/4/18

Left handed arm works from stretch with long arm action. Delivery requires above average effort while fastball shows some life. Gill has shown evident pitchability and awareness of his arsenal. Fastball come from a near over the top slot, sitting 80-84 mph. Slider has 2/8 shape that could get right handed hitters fits. At times that pitch has more of a curveball shape but still effective at 70-72 mph. With continued development of changeup will have a very nice 3-pitch mix.

8/5/17
Came into to finish off the game for Team Ohio. Threw a clean inning, showcasing an 83-86 mph fastball. The pitch works downhill as a product of his over the top delivery. Breaking ball was an above average offering, working on a 1/7 plane. Much improved since we saw him at TPG earlier in the summer.

6/6/17
A left-handed pitching prospect in the 2019 class. Delivery has some fluidity to it and is repeatable. Uses an over the top slot, flashing above average arm speed. Fastball works downhill at 81-84 mph. Spins a tight, 2/8 shaped breaking ball at 74-75 mph.

1/22/17
6-foot-0, 167-pound prospect. On the mound the southpaw works exclusively from the stretch. Creates solid momentum and direction to home plate with his lower half. Throws from an over the top slot with some quickness to his arm. Fastball was relatively straight as it entered the zone on 79-81 mph, topping at 82 mph. Breaking ball was very sharp at times. The pitch was on a 2/8 plane at 68-70 mph.  Still developing feel for his 73-75 mph changeup.
