Ethan Saxton: SS/RHP, (2024) Westerville North High School, OH. 6-foot-1, 178-pound. Begins in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 80 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.23. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1796; Avg 1665).
