An arm for college scouts to get to know. Stands 6-foot-4 with long limbs and a ton of physical projection left. Showed feel out there with the ability to locate all three offerings. Fastball was heavy with some arm side action at 84-86 mph. Curveball has sharp action with developing depth on a 10/4 plane. The pitch shows swing and miss potential at 65-68 mph. Works both sides of the plate with his changeup that was consistently in the zone at 71-72 mph. A high upside arm that should garner scholarship attention.
An athletic right-handed pitcher who throws with a quick tempo and fluent delivery. Very projectable frame. Mechanics are well polished and repeatable. Gathers his momentum from the ground up. Front foot lands slightly closed upon impact. Tends to finish towards the first base side of the mound. Releases the ball from a ¾ arm slot. Throws three above average pitches. Fastball comes in hard downhill filling up the zone. Curveball shows 11-5 shape with late bite. Rounds out his three pitch mix with a circle changeup. Offering is thrown with similar arm speed to his fastball. Talented young arm.
