6/6/18
Spellacy offers an above average skill set across the board. At the plate he has a smooth swing from the right side. Ton of feel up there, finding the barrel often and generating gap to gap type pop. Looks to have some emerging power in there to pull side. A corner type defensively that has fluid actions and above average ball skills. Skill set leans towards left field at this stage.

Outfield Velocity: 83
Exit Velocity: 86

2/4/18
A talented bat from the right side. Actions are fluid and movements are well timed. Swing posses strength with above average bat speed. A feel hitter who finds plane well and can use the entire field. In the outfield he is well versed in the spot, showing fundamentally sound feet to and through fielding. Ball skills are average to slightly above average for class. Skill set plays nicely in left field.

Outfield Velocity: 81
Exit Velocity: 89

6/6/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Swing is fluid and gets on plane early. Strong kid with some quickness to his bat. Has feel for the barrel and the ball comes off his bat well. Middle of the lineup type guy with gap to gap pop. In the outfield he has obvious feel for the position. Plays through the ball well. Showed above average arm strength to home plate.

A talented hitter that has impressed at the plate each time we’ve seen him . Strong kid with a fast bat. Hands get the bat through the zone on a level path. Middle of the lineup skills set. Swing is compact yet powerful, showing gap to gap pop at this stage. His path and ability to get on plane early allow him to use the whole field. Natural feel for the outfield position. Approaches the ball in aggressive, controlled manner. Fields to the outside of his body and creates momentum towards home plate. Quick transfer and arm action. Gets rid of the baseball with urgency. Top velocity of 83 mph with good carry to his throws.

Home to First: 4.52
Outfield Velocity: 83
Exit Velocity: 89

7/26/16
5-foot-8, 175-pound strong frame. Continues to impress this summer with the ability to swing the bat. Is able to get efficient use out of his body with little movement in his load. Stronger than he is fast with the bat, he is able to get his bat in the zone early allowing him to work to both sides of the field. In the two summer events he’s attended he is a total of 7 for 9, hitting for the cycle at the Underclass Games and recording two more hits at this event, including a triple. An adequate defender that has feel for the outfield. Will need to improve footwork as he matures. Threw to home plate with 80 mph arm strength and ran a 7.15 60-yard dash.

6/13/16
5-foot-8, 165-pound strong build. Can flat out hit. Recorded four hits on the day and was a double short of the cycle. His simple toe turn timing/loading mechanism gets efficient use out of his lower half and is easily transferable to game at bats. Good rhythm to his swing sequence. Stronger than he is fast with the bat at this stage. Reached a top exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 4.6 from home to first. In the infield he has adequate footwork. Looked unsure of his glove at times. Got efficient use out of his crow hop and threw to home plate with 78 mph arm strength. On the mound he shows good tempo and rhythm in his delivery. Shows some rotation at the top of his leg kick creating some torque. Good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike and falling off slightly towards first base. Short back arm action into a high ¾ slot with the fastball sitting 76-79 mph. Curveball sat 71-72 mph with gradual break on a 10/4 plane. Changeup sat 68-69 mph.
