5-foot-11, 170-pound, right-handed pitching prospect. Youtsey’s shows the ability to repeat his higher effort delivery. Works down the mound in good direction with level shoulders. Uses a long arm action working through a high-¾ slot. Only offered two pitches on this day. His fastball sat 77-81 with slight run when thrown to the arm side. Paired the fastball with a tight 11/5 breaking ball that has some bite. Showed the ability to throw both offerings for strikes. Presently projects better out of the bullpen at the next level. Two way prospect. At the plate the right-hander starts in a tall, open setup prior to getting into his toe turn for timing. Hands are loose, generating easy whip through the zone with above average natural tools. Nice, level path. Line drive hitter that worked pull side gap to center field in BP. At third base he offers smooth actions with average ball skills for class. Looks comfortable on the move, showing a clean/athletic transfer.

A righty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. A strong kid with above average bat speed through the zone. Creates energy with his lower half through a double tap load and controlled stride. Ball came off his bat well in batting practice, showing gap to gap pop. Could create more weight transfer into contact. A rangy infielder with decent glove skills. Footwork is athletic. Would like to see him create angles with his feet to play through the ball more efficiently. On the mound he has a smooth tempo and creates good direction to home plate with his lower half. Arm action is long with above average arm speed. Throws from a near over the top arm slot with his fastball sitting 77-80 mph. Fastball showed slight run at times. Breaking ball was sharp on an 11/5 plane while coming in at 69-72 mph. Was able to maintain arm speed on his changeup that had a similar look to his fastball at 66-68 mph.
